Pre-Paid Paper Pumpkin!

Say THAT three times fast! I signed up for Paper Pumpkin about four months ago, not quite knowing what to expect as there were a variety of comments about the product. I have to tell you, I'm certainly not sorry I did sign up.

Paper Pumpkin is a small box that gets delivered to your home once a month. Inside the box is a Paper Pumpkin seal that once broken and the tissue paper moved aside, reveals a wonderfully unique paper crafting item with all the supplies and directions you need to complete the project. It could be a card, a gift bag, a framed item or who knows! Half the fun in receiving Paper Pumpkin is opening the package each month!

Paper Pumpkin is great for those crafters who are just starting out and don't have many supplies, or those who aren't able to make a big investment in crafting supplies right now but want to produce handmade items or those who say they aren't creative on their own, but love to put together projects.

Something brand new with Paper Pumpkin is pre-paid subscriptions that can be purchased in 1, 3, 6 or 12 month packages. They are great for gift giving or gather a few friends together each month to assemble your Paper Pumpkins. Enjoy the ease and creativity of Paper Pumpkin!

Convention Swaps

Oops! Just realized that I promised you a photo of my convention swaps. I came home with almost 100 swap cards - lots of ideas! I'll post them at upcoming events.

I participated in 2 swaps; this is the swap for Mary Fish's Pals group:

Ink: So Saffron, Versamark

Pals Paper Arts Challenge 213

Upon my return from convention, I worked on setting some goals for myself. I have a lot going on in my life right now - and who doesn't? - so I needed to set goals that are reasonable for me. One of those goals is to post on a regular basis. Moving forward, look for the weekly deals post on Wednesdays and the newest PPA challenge on Saturdays (a little something to view while enjoying your morning cup of coffee or tea!) I'd love to know what you think of my projects or if there you have any questions I may be able to answer for you - please leave a comment!

It's not Saturday, but here is the PPA challenge for this week:

Convention Comments and Weekly Deals

Wow! That's all I have to say after attending my first Stampin' Up! Convention. I've still not caught up on my sleep! There were so many great training sessions, sneak peaks, amazing idea boards and 4,000 other paper, ink and glue fanatics! I shipped my 100 card swaps home along with many of the fabulous FREE stamp sets I received. I visited the home office:

I met my upline, Mary Fish, for the first time! 80+ members of Mary's Pals group were in attendance and cheered as Mary received awards for #1 in Recruiting, #1 in Leadership and #3 in Sales.

The awards event was followed by a county fair themed gathering, mechanical bull (which my room mate rode) and all! It was a very inspiring and fun event. Once I receive my box of swaps, I'll share some of them with you.

One of the highlights was receiving a copy of the upcoming holiday catalog and LOTS of product sneak peaks, make and takes and "play time". I have several classes in mind for fall, so stay tuned for more details. If you are interested in a holiday catalog, please leave a comment or email your address to me. Catalogs will be sent in August and I can place your orders beginning August 28th.

Prior to leaving Salt Lake City on Sunday morning, I was able to take in "Music and the Word" with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Another amazing experience!

On to the Weekly Deals! To purchase any of these items, simply click on the photo and you'll go directly to my online store.

Be sure to check back for more updates from convention.

Other than loading my suitcase, I'm ready to head off to convention in Salt Lake City. I'm looking forward to meeting many of the Stampin' Pretty Pals who I've been chatting with on Facebook, getting lots of new ideas, getting my hands on the new holiday catalog and seeing the mountains. It's been years since I've been west and I'm looking forward to the whole experience. My flight leaves at 5:30 tomorrow morning - aargh, I'm thinking Starbucks won't even be open by then!

I did get the birthday explosion box finished and delivered. I need to upload the photo, but in the meantime, here's one that was requested for a teacher gift. It holds a gift card in the center. I will be offering a class on how to make these within the month. If you're interested in participating, leave a comment so I'm sure to include you!

I'll fill you in on my adventures when I return. Until then, take gentle care.
