Happy October! I was at our cabin for the weekend with my nephew and his family who recently moved from Louisiana. The 3 little 'greats' are an absolute joy and I am so happy they are here in Wisconsin. My blog name and theme are inspired by our northern Wisconsin land. My dad purchased the first parcel in 1961 and our family has grown up loving this land. It was such a treat and blessing to see the next generation enjoying it too.
We're in the middle of the Nicolet National Forest with no utilities. My dad designed an built the cabin and the 1947 vintage Dodge army command truck still runs.
