PPA Challenge and True Confessions

This week's PPA challenge is a color challenge. I have a bit easier time with these than the layout challenge, but they're all fun to play with.

Okay, you're likely wondering about the 'true confessions'. I have to confess that I am was a DSP hoarder. I'm working on using all of my old DSP - it's going to take me awhile. That being said, I don't have DSP that works with this color scheme, so I made my own! No matter the color of your card stock, you can ALWAYS have coordinating DSP when you use Stampin' Up! products and a bit of creative stamping.

For this card, I used a crumb cake CS base and layers of  Read Red and because I don't have Bermuda Bay in my inventory, I used Tempting Turquoise (another confession!). Using the Stippled Blossoms stamp set, I created this beautiful DSP, topped it with crocheted ribbon and a sentiment using the large oval, scalloped oval and modern label punches. A few pearls finished off the project - fun card with a vintage look.

To order any of the products used to make this card or to purchase any of the soon to be retiring SU! items, click here to shop my online store.

Following your shopping spree, have some fun and join the PPA challenge!

Thanks for stopping in and until next time, take gentle care,
