Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi All,

A quick share of some of the Valentine's I sent out this year. I used the oh so popular Stacked With Love DSP along with the Snuggles and Smooches stamp set and stamps from the January Paper Pumpkin - that kit was amazing!! I can't wait to see what was sent I get in February! A 3 month PP subscription is available now at a $5 savings PLUS you can choose a FREE SAB item. Click here for PP details. I admit that I'm a bit of a DSP hoarder and I'm trying to get better at using what I have. This is a great layout to showcase DSP.

I love red, black and white in a combination! The small swirl or rose from Snuggles and Smooches provided the perfect background for my feature panel. The DSP was fun to mix up. I layered the hearts to give some definition against the background and added some pearls for interest. The hearts are popped up with dimensionals.

Here's an alternate color choice:

On this card I colored some rhinestones using the Calypso Coral Blendability pen and adhered them.

and the inside....

This is the last card I made, a standard fold. Why would you do that Sue?, you might ask. Well, believe it or not, I was out of Real Red CS but found a piece already cut and scored. If you saw the pile of extra CS paper packs that I had, you'd be as surprised as I was - how could a person EVER run out of Real Red? So, now you know the rest of that story!

I ran the red hearts through the Polka Dot embossing folder. Because of that, I felt they needed no additional bling. The inside of this one is the same as the other red/black/white cards.

TIP:  Do you want to create the fun fold featured today? Cut your CS to 4 1/4 x 11. Score at 3 1/4 and 8 3/4. The base DSP panels measure 4 x 3, 2 x 2 1/2, 1 1/2 x 2. The center panel is 3 3/4 x 3 1/4 with a 3 1/2 x 3 layer. I added an extra layer in the R/B/W card, but you can figure that out. Break out your DSP and have some fun!

Hope you enjoyed today's post. I've been busy stamping, so be sure to stop back to check out new projects.
