Contain yourself!

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for October where we are celebrating an early Fall season by sharing Halloween and Autumn projects using our wonderful Stampin’ Up! supplies.  We hope you enjoy our creations!
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Pam Sadler at Stampin Pink Rose, number 4 on the Pals Hop.  If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
With all of the fabulous Stampin' Up! dies that are available, it has been very difficult for me to "contain" myself! I chose to feature the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits along with the Happy Haunting DSP. You can certainly scare up some compliments when handing these treat filled containers off to family, friends and special trick-or-treaters!

I am especially loving the sparkling witches hat made with the 2 1/2" circle punch, the word window punch and the Tree Punch. For the hat on the mini treat bag, I used glue dots to adhere a small clothespin inside the hat for easy access to the treats!
For the pumpkin's hat, I bent the spider web in half and snipped a very narrow bit from the center so, when opened, the slit would fit over the curvy keepsake handle. I used Tombow glue to adhere the hat to the web so both pieces can be removed as one unit. It's hard to tell from the photo, but I used bits of the black glimmer paper to make the pumpkin's face.

What has been your favorite SU! container to create and give? Leave a comment below; I love to hear your ideas!
The next stop is Karen Hallam at Karen's Stampin' Habit, number 6 on the Pals Blog Hop!  Thanks for visiting; I hope to see you on next month’s Pals Hop!
